Auntie Anne’s Introduces Miniature Version Of Its Pretzel Dogs

Pennsylvania soft pretzel maker Auntie Anne’s this month is rolling out bite-sized versions of its successful Original Pretzel Dogs – pretzels wrapped around an all-beef Nathan’s Famous hot dog – at its 1,000 U.S. stores. The company is pitching the smaller versions, or Mini Pretzel Dogs, as a “portable treat for the on-the-go shopper”. The company said market tests of the Mini Pretzel Dogs exceeded sales expectations and garnered “overwhelmingly positive” customer feedback. The new product is available as an eight-count serving size and a larger 12-count size. Average price for the regular size is $3.89.
