Bakery Franchiser Uses Advanced Analytical Tools To Grow Its Business

Montana-based franchiser Great Harvest Bread Company is using sophisticated market analysis software to spotlight market gaps and potentially profitable locations for new bakeries. The software, developed by Esri Location Analytics, combines a business analysis solution with segmentation data to quickly perform detailed market analysis. Great Harvest Bread has 220 franchisees in 43 states baking handcrafted breads made with freshly ground whole wheat flour purchased from family-owned farms. The flour must be used within two days to guarantee good taste and nutritional value.
