December 8, 2017: 12:00 AM EST
Nestlé, which acquired Blue Bottle Coffee in September, reportedly has established a Korean subsidiary (Blue Bottle Korea) and named a former Nestlé Korea executive director as general manager. Industry sources told Korea Times that a Blue Bottle Coffee shop will open in Seoul in March. Blue Bottle, founded in San Francisco 15 years ago, is considered a major player in the high-end coffee market, emphasizing “deliciousness, hospitality and sustainability as its corporate values.”
