Cheese Cakes: An Emerging Trend At California Weddings?

May 13, 2013: 12:00 AM EST
Wedding cheese cakes are all the rage among California’s brides, according to the forgivably partisan California Milk Advisory Board, a PR unit of the California Department of Food and Agriculture. Cheese cakes are taking their place, says spokesman Jennifer Giambroni – she did not cite any market data in her news release – among the other wedding dessert options, which include the traditional multi-tiered cake, and the more recent fads, cupcakes and cake pop-ups. She notes that there are more than 250 kinds of California cheese to choose from, and a wedding cheese cake “offers the perfect way to create a dessert as unique as the honored couple”.
