Hain To Sell Its U.K.-based Fresh-Squeezed Juice Business

The British government has approved the sale of organic products company Hain Celestial’s own-label fresh-squeezed fruit juice business to Multiple Marketing Ltd. The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) also okayed the sale of the related Headcorn facility. The own-label juice business generated approximately £20 million ($25 million) in net sales for the year ended June 30.The company said it would integrate Orchard House, acquired last December, into Hain Celestial United Kingdom and would develop new cold-pressed juice and branded fruit products for the European market.
