Heineken Cuts Distribution Ties With Coca-Cola Femsa In Brazil

May 2, 2017: 12:00 AM EST
Dutch brewing company Heineken is leveraging recent acquisition of Brasil Kirin by putting Kirin’s established distribution network to work and jettisoning partnership with Coca-Cola Femsa. Arrangement was lucrative for Femsa, which saw beer-related revenues of about $415 million – hefty 18 percent of all Femsa revenue in Brazil.
