Mexican Sparking Water Brand Could See Expanded Production

Production of sparking water brand Topo Chico could increase significantly if expansion plans of Mexico Coca-Cola and Arca Continental (AC) bear fruit. Coca-Cola acquired Mexican distribution rights last year from AC, hopes to expand distribution in states where AC does not operate. AC executive said Topo Chico distribution could expand in Texas and other states where demand is strong. AC retains control of brand in U.S. and other markets.
