Nestlé Expands R&D Facility In Singapore, Expands Focus On Asia-Pacific Markets

Nestlé expanded its research and development center in Singapore that will allow the company to focus more on its fastest-growing markets in the Asia-Pacific region. Employing around 100 scientists from 17 countries with specialties ranging from mechanical engineering to microbiology, the R&D center will play the lead in the company's innovation efforts for its Nescaféand Milo beverages. Nestlé's CHF 4 million investments in the expansion will create 20 new jobs in 2013.
