Nestlé Waters Boosts Production Capacity To Meet Market Demands

June 29, 2017: 12:00 AM EST
Taking advantage of the growing consumer interest in health and wellness – a trend that has negatively affected the sugary beverage industry – Nestlé Waters is investing in increased production capacity for its products. The company is building a 100,000-square-meter factory near Perrier’s source in Vergèze, southern France. The new plant will have five bottling lines producing two billion bottles of the sparkling water annually within three years. The company recently completed a $79 million upgrade to its bottling plant in Breinigsville, Pa., including three high-speed bottling lines producing Nestlé Pure Life purified bottled and sparking water products.
