New Kellogg Breakfast Foods Offer Nutrition And Convenience

June 6, 2013: 12:00 AM EST
Battling the consumer trend away from eating breakfast cereals, Kellogg Company has introduced several breakfast foods that are focused on “eating better, not just eating less”. The new products include Special K Nourish hot cereal. The hot cereal is made with quinoa, oats, barley and wheat and contains 8 grams of protein and five grams of fiber. The company is also struggling with a growing trend away from eating any breakfast at all: thirty million Americans skip breakfast every day. Kellogg’s answer is to provide convenient breakfast foods, including nutrition bars and To Go breakfast shakes
