Tyson Foods, Inc. acquired the assets of Circle Foods, LLC, a manufacturer of frozen and refrigerated handheld Mexican foods, uncooked tortillas, and Indian flatbreads, from Claridge. Operating for the past 25 years, Circle Foods from California is famous for its Nuevo Grille, Tortillaland, and Rotiland brands. Also, its modern production facility in San Diego manufactures private-label products for many customers. Although terms of the purchase deal were not publicized, Tyson Foods said it does not plan to make any significant changes to Circle Foods' management team and business operations.
