Unilever Boosts Support Of U.S. Military Veteran Training By $70 Million

Unilever has enhanced its partnership with a consumer packaged goods marketing agency to expand training of U.S. military veterans to provide services to Unilever. The company will invest $70 million to support Advantage Sales and Marketing training of 300 veterans, many of whom will be hired by Unilever into its sales organization. ASM trains veterans in merchandising, retail selling and in-store execution. More than 800 ASM employees provide services to Unilever’s customer development organization in sectors that include supermarkets, hypermarkets, drug, and discount stores.
