Unilever Formalizes Business Activities In Myanmar

Unilever has announced it is establishing a headquarters and building a manufacturing facility in Yangon, Myanmar, a move that formalizes the company’s business activities there. The company already has a distribution program that it created through third parties beginning  in 2010. The plan now is to build a network of distributors and build a retail outlet network. The company’s product range in Myanmar spans the hair, savory, skin, laundry and oral care categories. Unilever said it will implement a sustainable growth business model in cooperation with the Myanmar government.
