Unilever Zimbabwe Plans Restart Of Exports

February 5, 2013: 12:00 AM EST
Unilever Zimbabwe said it plans to restart exports in Zambia, Malawi, and other countries in Africa. Established in 1943, the Unilever subsidiary had to stop its exports business in the 1990s, due to the economic crisis that hit the country. Unilever and other manufacturers in Zimbabwe, however, face some major obstacles, including lack of affordable credit and unreliable power supply.
